Romulus
The twin brother of Remus and the son of
Rhea Silvia and
Mars. Besides being the son of
a god, he is a descendant of the Trojan hero
Aeneas. He and his
brother were exposed, but saved by a shepherd. After killing his brother Remus,
he eventually founded his own city, Rome, and became its first king. He
ruled for 37 years (753-715 BC).
