Apollodorus was a writer, who lived in Athens in the second
century, BC. He wrote two great works. The first, Chronice
Syntaxis, covered the time from the fall of Troy to his time, and it
survives only in fragments. His second work, Bibliotece, covers
the heroic tales and survives largely intact.
