DardanusDardanus was the second mythical king of Troy, having inherited the throne from his father-in-law Teucer. Homer appears to consider him the first truly Trojan king. According to Homer, he founded the city of Dardania. His son, the third king of Troy, was Erichthonius. Because of Dardanus, the Trojans are often referred to as the Dardanians. Source(s):
