TrosIt is from Tros, the fifth king of Troy, that the Trojans get their name. He was succeeded by his son Ilus. He also had another son, Ganymede. Ganymede was renowned for his exceptional beauty. The gods recognized this and stole him away to be the cupbearer upon Olympus. Source(s):
